Kaduna Polytechnic 2017/2018 Admission Notification for ND and Payment of HND Acceptance Fees

The management of Federal Polytechnic Kaduna otherwise known as Kaduna Polytechnic, KADPOLY, has extended the closing date of paying of acceptance fees for Higher National Diploma, HND to December 30, 2017.

Federal University Otuoke Releases Names of De-Registered Students Form the University

The Senate of Federal University Otuoke, Bayelsa State has hereby De-Registered students who have failed to pay Schools fees.
This was published on their official website today Thursday, November30, 2017.
Reading “The Senate at its 46th Meeting held on Monday November 27, 2017 considered the issue of non-payment of school fees and decided that students who have failed to pay their school fees be de-registered from the University.
Accordingly, the students whose names appear below are by this memo de-registered from the University for their Continued Failure to pay their school fees”.

Asup Updates: Asup Suspends Strike

The Academic Staff Union of Polytechnics, ASUP, has suspended its nationwide strike, 15 days after the industrial action began.

According to online media sources, it was confirmed by the chairman of the Moshood Abiola Polytechnic chapter of the union, Kola Abiola, on Wednesday’s night.

It was learnt that the union suspended the strike after memorandum of understanding with the federal ministry of education and ministry of labor.

The union considered the suspension of the strike as a way to give opportunity for the implementation of the Memorandum of Settlement and Actions is has reached with the FG. 


With this development, it means all Polytechnics that were affected in the strike can now return with their academic activities.

JAMB Portal For Checking Admission Status for 2017 UTME Applicants Enabled

The Joint Admission and Matriculation Board, JAMB has enable the website of checking Admission Status for 2017 UTME applicants.

The direct link for 2017 UTME candidates to check their admission status on JAMB Portal via their JAMB profile has been enabled.

We advised candidates who are having issues checking their admission status on JAMB CAPS to do so via the direct admission status link on their profiles:

Enter your Username and Password in the spaces provided and click "Login" to have access to your profile.

On the next page that opens, select your examination Year (2017).

Enter your JAMB Registration Number in the space provided.

3. REGISTRATION PROCEDURE:
a. Registration will start on Tuesday, 5th September, 2017 and end on Friday 15th September, 2017.

b. – Visit portal.unizik.edu.ng
– Click on ‘ Create Account’
– Enter your UTME REG Number and a valid email address and click ‘Send’. A verification code will be sent to your email instantly.
– Copy the verification code and click on ‘Continue’
– On the form, enter your phone number, password, verification code (copied from email), select the access level and click on ‘ Submit’
– Your login details will be sent to your email address instantly.
– Continue with the application by logging in with the login credentials sent to your email
– After successful login, click on ‘Step One’, click on ‘Generate Application Form RRR’
– Print the RRR (Remita) page, proceed to any bank of your choice nationwide to make a payment of N2,000 only
– Login to the portal, click on ‘Step Two’, click on ‘Confirm payment’, enter the RRR number and click on ‘Verify payment’. If payment confirmation is successful, or if you get a notification ‘Payment already verified’, then proceed to “Step Three”.
– Click on ‘Step Three’, click on ‘Fill Application Form’, Fill out the application form. You can
save each stage of the application and continue at a later time. Also, you can edit your information as often as possible within the application period.
– Check the ‘I Agree’ box and click on “submit” button.
– Print out the Application Form and come along with it for your screening and POST UTME examination.

4. TIME AND REQUIREMENTS FOR THE SCREENING EXERCISE
a. Accreditation of candidates commences at 8.00am each day. Candidates should adhere strictly to the time scheduled for screening examination.
b. Print out the Application Form from the University Portal and come along with it for your screening and POST UTME evaluation
c. The date and time for each candidate’s examination will be shown on the POST UTME PRINT-OUT

5. RESTRICTIONS
a. Only bona fide candidates/candidates scheduled for the day’s examination and time shall be allowed into the University / Examination Hall.
b. Parents and guardians are, therefore, strongly advised against attempting to enter the University Campus as security will be tight.
c. No GSM handsets, scientific calculators or any other extraneous materials shall be allowed into the examination hall
d. Candidates who did not register online will not be allowed for the screening exercise.
e. The University will not be liable for any payment made with wrong JAMB registration number at the Bank.
f. The University shall also not be liable for any fraudulent payments made anywhere that is not in line with the directives of the University.

Federal University of Petroleum Resources Effurun FUPRE 2017/2018 Post UTME Screening Form is Out

This is to notify the general public that the Federal University of Petroleum Resources, Effurun, Delta State, hereby invites all candidates who scored 180 and above and applied for admission into the University as first choice in the 2017 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examinations (UTME) to apply for the Post UTME Screening Exercise.

Obafemi Awolowo University OAU Ile Ife 2017/2018 Post UTME and Direct Entry Details

This is to notify all candidates who applied Obafemi Awolowo University, OAU, Ile-Ife, that the school management has released details about the school Post UTME and Direct Entry form.
This was published by the school management on the school official website reading, “Candidates who made the Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife their first choice in the 2017 UTME and scored 200 and above, and those who applied for Direct Entry (DE) are hereby informed to log on to Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife website (www.oauife.edu.ng) or admissions.oauife.edu.ng to register for the POST-UTME screening exercise effective from September 11, 2017. 
The candidates are required to click on “2017 ADMISSION SCREENING-UTME/DE APPLICANTS” link (or visit admissions.oauife.edu.ng directly) and login with their JAMB Registration Number to download RRR (Remita Retrieval Reference) and use it to make payment online or at any commercial bank.

University of Ibadan UI Warning to Applicants on 2017/2018 Post UTME Registration

This is to inform the general public that the University of Ibadan UI has denied the rumor of the university releasing it cut-off point and Post UTME date, also the university also gave notice to candidates who applied pharmacy in the 2017/2018 session.
The Management of the university made this known on their official website, which quote “The attention of Management has been drawn to pieces of information purportedly issued by the University regarding cut-off points for courses as well as other unsubstantiated claims about the 2017/18 admission exercise. For the avoidance of doubt, Management wishes to inform all prospective applicants and the general public that the admission process in the University has not yet started. They are, therefore, advised to dismiss all such claims and be on the look-out for information on the commencement of the exercise.
