Breaking News: 3 Ministers are Sick - Presidency

Report reaching GutsyNaija from the presidency, is that 3 of the 36 ministers of President Muhammadu Buhari have been diagonised with some unknown sickness and are responding to treatment.

It is just two days that the president has just been taken abroad to recieve treatment and three ministers also have been confirmed sick.

GutsyNaija has it that the ailing Ministers are Hajia Aisha Alhassan (Women Affairs), Alhaji Adamu Adamu (Education) and Alhaji Ibrahim Usman Jubrin (Minister of State for Environment).

The health status of the Minister was disclosed Yesterday by the secretary to the Government of the Federation, (SGF), Babachir David Lawal, at the beginning of the Federal Executive Council (FEC) meeting at the Council Chamber of the State House, Abuja, on Wednesday.

At the moment now, the Nigerian President is on a 10-day vacation to London while the Vice president is serving as the acting president and chaired yesterday's FEC meeting.
Report has it that it was only 22 of the 36 ministers attended the meeting.

Osinbajo had called on Lawal to offer the Christian opening prayers after the Minister of Information, Alhaji Lai Mohammed, had similarly offered the Muslim opening prayers for the session.

Lawal started by praying for the quick recovery of President Buhari, although presidential aides had insisted days earlier that he was not ill.

Lawal then sought divine healing for the Minister Alhassan, whom he said is currently recuperating from a surgery she underwent in the United States of America (USA).
The SGF also prayed for the quick recovery of Adamu, who is said to be nursing a back pain that prevented him from attending the meeting.

Soon after this, Lawal was reminded by a colleague not to forget praying for Jubrin, who was also revealed to be suffering from an undisclosed ailment. The SGF then prayed for him too.

Earlier, Mohammed had prayed for God to grant the cabinet members the wisdom to take decisions that would enhance the development of the country.
