Treat all IBOP and Niger Delta Avengers Victims and send the Bill to us - IPOB Spain tells South-South and South-East Doctors

The indigenous Peoples of Biafra (IPOB) worldwide headquartered in Victoria Spain has said it would pick the medical bills of all Biafran agitators wounded by the security operatives during the Biafran Day anniversary in Onitsha.

According to GutsyNaija, IPOB in a release issued yesterday by the Head of the Directorate of State in Victoria Spain, Mazi Uchenna Asiegbu, appealed to doctors in Biafra land comprising South South and South East geopolitical zones to ”treat every victim of Nigeria Army brutality during the anniversary and forward the bill to IPOB world headquarters in Spain for immediate settlement.”

The statement pleaded with the doctors not to reject the wounded agitators for failure to make initial de-posits but give them all the necessary medical attention and forward their bills later.

According to GutsyNaija, the Statement read in part: “Let the absence of initial deposit by injured IPOB family members and Niger Delta Avengers not be a reason to deny treatment to those that need it.

“Every injured Biafran or Niger Delta Avenger injured in this quest for justice IPOB will pay the hospital bill from contributions from family members all over the world.

“We don’t want any politician to contribute to the treatment of those they ordered to be shot at sight. Let no family member of IPOB accept any dime from Governor Willie Obiano or any other Nigerian politician.

“IPOB is equal to every task laid before it. More so, we thank all the medical doctors and nurses in Biafra-land for their courage and support during the Remembrance Day celebration of their help to resuscitate our members who were felled with the sporadic Army bullets. Please go ahead treat them we are aware of your bill.”

In a related development, IPOB also hailed the Igbo Youth Movement for conferring its detained leader, Nnamdi Kanu the award of “Liberator”, describing the award as well deserved.

Media and Publicity Officer of IPOB, Emma Powerful in a press statement said Kanu destroyed “the false-hood in Nigeria with the truth without metallic bullets and bombs.”

“His determination and truthfulness towards the liberation of his people accorded him the honour and respect among the youths across the world.”

IPOB said it would restore Biafra through peaceful means despite the brutality of the security operatives against its members and other agitators.
