If you are not going to Fight Avengers, then you should Stop Fighting Boko Haram - Prof. Ango Abullahi tells FG

The former Adviser on Food Security under the administration of  former President Olusegun Obasanjo, Prof. Ango Abdullahi, yesterday advised the Federal Government of Nigeria to face the Niger Delta Avengers in the South before facing the Boko Haram in the North.
According to Vanguard News, Prof. Abdullahi , who also blamed politicians for political instability in the country, he said the greatest challenge to national security was activities of the Militants.
According to the same source, he made this known during a book launch, titled: ‘Turakin Bauch at 2015 and Boko Haram’ the charade versus the reality at 2016 in Abuja.
In his words read in parts, “If we find truly that we cannot peacefully develop this country, the solution is to go separate parts, why not?
“Even now we are not happy with the kind of security that is being applied in the country.
He added, “If you are not going to fight Avengers, then you should stop fighting Boko Haram.”
Source said, while he was blaming politicians for the country’s failure, he said, “Any government that fails to ensure the well being of its people has the least legitimacy, it is not worth being a government.
He continued, “Nigeria has not made the kind of progress that was expected of it since independence after 56 years. We must take account that we are responsible of these.
Nigeria has signed so many protocols that are injurious to her, there is need to check some of these protocols.”
The author of the books, Mrs. Hadiza Wada, said there was need for the Federal Government to do more research on Boko Haram crisis.

In here words, she said, “Our intelligence needs to concentrate on our neighboring countries, that is where our support should be coming from.”
