The Imo State governor, Gov. Rochas Okorocha, gave an order for the demolition of houses in the state capital Owerri.
According to VANGUARD NEWS, the Cleric reminded the Gov. Okorocha that the hapless and helpless people are getting frustrated, devastated and directionless.
In his statement read in parts, “Do you know that many people have died because of your sudden demolition saga? Some are frustrated, devastated and directionless, with the prevalent economic hardship in the land.”
According to the source, while the Priest is seeking to know who advised you to commence the demolition now and in this outrageous manner, the catholic cleric also appealed to the Governor to wind down the tinted windows of his vehicle and see the pains, regret and agony visited on the citizenry by his administration since the massive demolition started.
In his words, he said, “Bring down the hard earned houses and stores of your fellow man without compensation because an ephemeral power is in your possession today, and is uncharitable and ungodly. Have you forgotten that this power will shift hands in 2019?
He added, “Please retrace your steps quickly. Imo is in shambles and Imolites are suffering terribly, the seeming silence in the land is not a sign of conquer as many have posited.

The priest also reminded the governor, that God’s anger does not burn immediately, pleading that the governor should have pity for and future generation to come.
