We the Northerners are Suppose to Support the Buhari Led Administration instead of following others Criticizing Him - Emir of Katsina




The Emir of Katsina, Alhaji Abdulmumini Usman, has called on all the people in the northern part of Nigeria to support President Muhammadu Buhari Administration instead of following others to criticize him.
According to The PUNCH, the Emir made this call on Sunday at the launch of a book titled “Limamin Kano Muhammadu Zaharadeen Dynasty” written by Mallam Aminu Abdullahi, a former General Manager f the Katsina State Radio.
According to report, it was gathered that the secretary to the Katsina State government, Alhaji Mustapha Inuwa, and the Emir of Kano, Muhammadu Sanusi II, have family ties with the dynasty.
In the Monarch statement read in parts, “During this hard period, we as the northerner are expected to support President Muhammadu Buhari administration and not to criticize it.
He added, “What has been damage for 16-years will take time to rectify. Pres. Buhari is trying his best to rectify the situation and we must support and encourage him.”
Report has it that noble people in the event were Gov. Aminu Masari of Katsina, the Emir of Kano, Mallam Sanusi Lamido II, and the Emir of Daura, Alhaji Umar Umar, among others.
In their speech, the Emir of Katsina, said “What should be paramount in the mind of every Nigerian now is how to move the country forward and not to engage in gossiping and rumor mongering.
The Katsina Emir asked the people to purify their minds and resolve to be good always for the overall development of the society, citing appropriate portions of the Quran to buttress his points.
While the Emir of Kano, Mallam Sanusi Lamido, in his own words, highlighted the importance of both Islamic and Western education, calling for the embrace of the two types of education for the development of the society.

Gov Masari in his own remarks, also spoke about the importance of education, maintaining that the appropriate education would help reduce ills in the society.
