Gov. Fayose Visit Fani-Kayode at EFCC Office

The governor of Ekiti State, Gov. Ayodele Fayose, visited his friend, Femi Fani-Kayode at the Economic and Financial Crime Commission EFCC custody in Abuja on Tuesday.
According to source the Ekiti State governor arrived at the EFCC office at 2.15pm and left at 4:30pm.
The governor said he was welcomed by three security operatives when he arrived at the commission.
Fayose said, he prayed with the former minister in the EFCC custody.
Source said the governor spoke with journalist outside the EFCC office, described the continued detention of the former presidential aide as bad.
According to source, the Ekiti State governor said while the former Minister [Fani-Kayode] was in good spirit when he met him, he could not attest to the detainees’ state of mind.
Gov. Fayose called on the Federal Government to stop “Playing god” and allow the former minister to enjoy the bail earlier granted to him by the court.

Sources said, the Ekiti State Governor, attest to the character of Fani-Kayode, who said could jump bail, he how ever questioned the rationale behind the former minister’s continued detention since the EFCC had resolved to arraigned him tomorrow.
