Nothing Will Stop MASSOB from Actualizing the Dream of the Igbo People - Mr. Perry Akujinwa

Report from Asaba Delta State Capital, said that the Movement for the Actualization of the Sovereign State of Biafra on yesterday [Thursday] accused the Nigerian Federal Government of using security Agencies to discreetly clampdown on its members.
According to source, MASSOB Zonal Leader, Delta Central, Mr. Perry Akujinwa, made the allegation during a rally organized by the group in Asaba, on Thursday, saying that the clampdown had led to the killing of it members why illegally detained in various prisons.
The MASSOB leader said that there were plans by the Federal Government, though the security agencies, to arrest more of the MASSOB Members and label them as criminals and kidnappers.
He also talked about that despite the non-violent posture of the group, many MASSOB members had been unlawfully killed by the security agencies in Nigeria.
In his words he said, “They (security agents) should continue to face those attacking the government with weapons. We, members of MASSOB, don’t carry weapons but are agitating for actualization of Biafra State.”

According to source, the Asaba MASSOB leader also dismissed as untrue a recent statement credited to President Muhammadu Buhari describing MASSOB as a faceless organization, adding that nothing would stop Chief Ralph Uwazurike-led group [MASSOB] from actualizing the dream of the Igbo people.
